Our team

Jessica founded Telescope in 2022. Before working in tech, Jessica taught English in South Korea for two years, where the homogeneity and 40% gender pay gap made discrimination obvious and pushed her to think more critically about discrimination in America. From 2017 to 2018 she helped build a database for a recruiting agency, and from 2018 to 2021 she worked internally for various NY startups, specializing in top-of-funnel operations.

Jessica is a 3rd generation business owner, and the first female business owner in her family tree.

Telescope is otherwise operated by a pool of 20 freelancers who all work on flexible schedules and play specialized roles as sourcers, data entry specialists, content writers and business developers. Most — but not all — of these freelancers are women working in countries with low rates of female employment.
